  This remote school was designed with post & beam heavy timber & special detailed architectural connections. The lateral system & exterior construction was designed with wood SIPs. The foundation system was designed with steel H piles and thermosyphons. A Basketball gym was included with this school and is a large benefit to the community.

  Remote K-12 school on a small island on the  Beaufort Sea (North Slope of Alaska). The primary structure is steel framing on steel piles with a flat loop cooling system. The library portion of this school will be used by the entire community. 

   This remote dorm at Clear Space Force Station in Alaska will be a great upgrade to the onsite living quarters. The primary structure is steel framing with specially concentrically braced frames and masonry shear walls. The structure was designed for progressive collapse and anti-terrorism force protection measures were considered. I am excited to support our nations defense.  

  Exciting housing and storefront building with multiple long span wood beams and multiple structural material types including steel moment frames. The project team worked through many iterations to make this an exceptional part of the community for years to come and my favorite design features include curved glue laminated columns & roof-top solar.
